in no particular order, and while still awaiting the judges final word, here are the remainder of the top 6 entries, appologies if you werent selected, but its all getting a tad weird, if you know what i mean ?

Team Alexs shelf, but there are doubts about his existence

Team Alexs shelf, but there are doubts about his existencethen there is this late and 2nd entry from the FluffyShelf Team, to back up the Brockley box.FluffyShelf Team, Bavarian wood experimental carboot shelf

then there was this entry from the crowds favourite, Jason Ross from the Newquay Print Studio Shelf fest team.

we have been in touch with the crowds favourite, Jason Ross, but he stands by his shelf fest entry (well he would, and no doubt he will, once the calipers are off)

Winners will be announced sometime, so theres still time to vote, but theres no way of working out how you would do that , so , any ideas ? WHERES THE BLOODY SURF IN THIS COUNTRY !!

congratulations amigos, it seems theres no shortage of talent out there, and its multiplied ten fold by the never ending flat spell. The judges at surftwisted towers are sieving through the submissions as we speak.

Advertees forced the entire 48 strong workforce to work non stop on this shelving tryptych

FluffyShelf team spokesman “Fluffy” tried to publically dis-associate himself from the whole debate by stating “its a box”, but we suspect it might actually be a shelf, only the judges really know the answer.

News from the Newquay print studio is scarce, even taking into account that he was beaten almost senseless by the authorities and then suffered the added horror of having his dogs ears amputated, apparently by over zealous Health and Safety officials, the judges are at a loss as to why the crowds favourite, Jason Ross, would submit a full sized mock up of a green helicopter when it is obviously a shelf fest ?

Cheltenhams most famous son and rank outsider Alex is a late entry, but tongues is wagging, after Mrs surftwisted announced “I recognise that handwritting, and it wasnt from someone called Alex”. Conspiracy theorists will have a field day if this one wins, or will they ?

In a funky twist of fate, Brockley Pidge from the FluffyShelf team has thrown the whole competition into a state of confussion. Whilst there is absolutely no denying that the colour is “bloody awfull” and that they fell into the classic “3 hinges, its SO LAST YEAR “, beginners trap , the judges are currently split as to whether it is a box or a shelf “with sides and a lid”.

Team Heesch spokesman said “Will the fest be over by the time I´m over there? I could help out with some hallucinogenic paint work. Win the prize whatever it will be, see you soon,

Jan “

The shelf fest has been stood down today as Twisted officials try to piece together the horror that took place yesterday, when over zealous health and safety officials took exception to the “blatant disregard for personal safety shown by some competitors” and waded in.

“I dont care what they do to me, but look what they did to my dog ” ! sobbed Jason Ross

"look what they did to my dog"!

"look what they did to my dog"!

blah blah blah cant do this, cant do that, wrong. Day 3  finished with the crowds favourite, Jason Ross, from Newquay print studios in a full scale scrap with the authorities ! Power tools and flip flops were airborne as he  battled with some odd chaps in boiler suits and walkie talkies, but its all finished now and visiting time at Treliske A and E promises to be interesting  later this evening ?

old school approach to shelving landed Big J in trouble with Health and Safety, and in hospital with a dislocated Thatcher ?

Hordes of people attended the opening ceremony, (quick cup of tea and a biscuit) in the twisted kitchen, and the steady stream of Newquays weird and wonderfull kept morale high throughout. Stand outs for the day were Tony Plant who went to 2 shops looking for wood presevative but returned to the twisted towers and said “Im not paying some suit £42.00 for a litre and a half of worm killer” ! Lionel D:P put on a good show by appearing, talking about his new camera and dissapearing to order a brand new SPL water housing while Mitch Corbett, as usual, was just amped to be awake ! “thats the sickest planer ive seen all day”!  Gabriel Wisdom “being Gabriel Wisdom aint easy”, telephoned through his “appologies” and Bill announced that he was actually in Africa and all was well ?

surftwisted organisors have called the competition ON ! “we have a couple of absolute no hopers, just to make it a bit gorey, plus, seven of the worlds best shelf teams frothing on this. May the best team win”.

In keeping with tradition, surftwisted are keen to emphasise that “any shelf team can enter, just send in your entries to the judges. The shelf fest is all inclusive “.

Last years winners, JD Hogg has teamed up with his current beau, Lionel D:P , and is expected to come out of the blocks hard !

surftwisted roll out the "big guns" for the shelf fest

bad weather has stopped the innaugural surftwisted shelf fest today, no chance to sand down, de-worm or tidy up the wood, thats just not going to happen today. All teams are on “stand-by” and as soon as the charts show any change we will be back on. Watch this space for updates.
